we're the kids in america

For anyone that comes across this blog, whether in my class or not, I decided I should probably do a short "introduction entry".

(^○^)オ(^▽^)ハ(^0^)ツ〜!!
My name is Lora, but most of my friends call me Rola after my host sister in Japan had a 50/50 chance on spelling my name correctly and did not (In Japanese, the 'l' and 'r' are the same.). The also call me Yirou which is my name in Chinese. My dad is a retired Marine, and most of my family are in service. I really love learning languages and I can pick them up quite easily. My other interests are history, culture, and music so feel free to drop a line if you wanna chat about anything. I like making new friends. o(●´ω`●)oわくわく♪

Anything else?! Well, I'm getting my degree in Cultural Anthropology and then I plan on going to UW and getting a Masters in Peace Corps. I might throw Human Services somewhere in there also. My best friend is an aspiring photographer/hair and makeup designer so when I'm not pouring over books and studying, I'm being used for cheap (free) labour by her. When that's not going on, I enjoy playing D&D because I'm a cool kid like that. (;≧∇≦) =3 ホッ

I'll probably think of things afterwords about myself and throw it up on here, but if you have any questions, please ask!

Welcoming

Since I forgot I had this blog (and never used it) I shall be turning it into my school blog for this quarter. Should be interesting....let's see what I learn!
